Elzac Man from the
Orient Pin
The 1940s was witness to a surge
of popularity of California Pottery. This was
brought about by WWII during which there was a
lack of imports. Elzac flourished during these
years and produced these wonderful pins now known
as "Victims of Fashion" which are
usually women. This unusual man is decorated with
a braided cord headdress or turban and mounted on
a wood back. Measures 2-3/4" by 1-1/2".
Excellent condition.
